Mission Statement

The Accounting Society is an educational and non-profit student organization established by faculty and students that will serve as an advisory information source that is committed to bridging the gap between the academic and professional world.

Executive Board

Juliana Grisales, President, is a fourth-year accounting student pursuing the five-year BBA/MBA program. She is currently doing an internship in the Internal Audit department at Swift Energy. She will intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the audit division in Spring 2013 and plans on becoming a CPA upon graduation.

Claudia Parra, Executive Vice President, is an accounting major who will graduate in May 2013. She plans on becoming a CPA after graduation.

Jennifer Depierri, Vice President of Finance, is a fourth-year accounting student in the five-year BBA/MBA program. She will intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the audit division in Spring 2013.

Maria Zeevaert, Vice President of Marketing, is a fifth-year accounting major currently pursuing the five-year BBA/MBA program offered at UST. She has previously served as Treasurer for the International Student Association from Fall 2011 to Spring 2012 and is currently a member of ALPFA, Delta Mu Delta, and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. She plans on becoming a CPA after graduation.

Nataly Perez, Administrative Vice President, is a fifth-year accounting major currently pursuing the five-year BBA/MBA program offered at UST. She currently works as a tax accountant at Patrick B. Padon & Co. and plans on becoming a CPA after graduation.

Fatoumata Toure, Council of Clubs Liaison, is an accounting major. She plans on pursuing her PhD in accounting upon graduation.
